HISTORY OF THE COMPANY

Discount Funding Associates was founded in 1979. In fact, DFA was the first mortgage brokerage application to be processed by the New York State Banking Department. In its 29 years of service to the residential and commercial markets, DFA has placed millions of dollars in loans, frequently closing loans which had been considered hopeless possibilities. We specialize in obtaining the best rates and terms available to all of our borrowers. Being able to compete with major retail banks makes Discount Funding Associates the most desirable option among shoppers. In the past ten years, placement of loans has grown at a phenomenal rate, which results in our ability to act from strength with lenders.

OUR PROGRESS

As Discount Funding Associates grew into a "Mortgage Powerhouse", it was time to spread its wings. In 1994, DFA began to offer its services to Connecticut. In the past 11 years, DFA continued its expansion and is now licensed in 13 states . With a lender base that exceeds 150 , we feel that we can offer the very best products that are available to existing and potential property owners.
